 We keep personal information until it is deleted, or until we no longer need it to provide you with the Service. We will not retain student personal information for any longer than is necessary for educational purposes and legal obligations, or to provide the Service for which we receive or collect the student personal information. In addition, we only keep student personal information for as long as the student's account is active, unless we are required by law or the student's school to retain it, or need it to protect the safety of our users. Note that some content may be kept after an account is deleted for school legal compliance reasons (e.g. maintenance of "education records" under FERPA or "student records" under various state student privacy laws).

For the purposes of business integrity and operations, backup data is stored and kept for 30 days. In the case of a requirement to restore the data, all data that has requested to be deleted will be promptly removed after a full system restore.

Terms of Use/Service

You own and will continue to own at all times all of Your Information. In addition, Trivedi Chemistry takes various security measures—physical, electronic, and procedural—to help defend against the unauthorized access and disclosure of your information. Review, Deletion request or making changes

A school has the right to review, have deleted and/or refuse to permit further collection or use of any student’s information. Trivedi Chemistry will anonymize and erase that student’s information within 14 business days of receiving such a request, after which that student will not be able to continue using the services of the homework app.

A school can see all information pertaining to students enrolled in their classes. Trivedi Chemistry collects this data directly by the user on our website,  or if its the student by the teacher; via the School Directory by teachers and school leaders. The purpose for Trivedi Chemistry to collect this information is to establish one's identity with the online homework, and within a school community. Data is hosted and stored by SiteGround. California consumers also have specific rights of access, deletion and data portability regarding their personal information under the CCPA.   1. Student records obtained by Trivedi Chemistry from an educational institution continue to be the property of and under the control of the educational institution. The educational institution retains full ownership rights to the personal information and education records it provides to Trivedi Chemistry.
  2. Trivedi Chemistry will not use any information in a student record for any purpose other than those required or specifically permitted by the Trivedi chemistry Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
  3. Parents, legal guardians, or eligible students may review personally identifiable information in the student’s records and correct erroneous information by contacting their educational institution. Additionally, Trivedi Chemistry online homework users may access, correct, update, or delete personal information in their profile by signing into their class, accessing their online homework account, and making the appropriate changes.
  4. Trivedi Chemistry is committed to maintaining the security and confidentiality of student records. Trivedi Chemistry will delete or de-identify personal information when it is no longer needed, upon expiration or termination of our agreement with an educational institution with any deletion or de-identification to be completed according to the terms of our agreement with the educational institution, or at the direction or request of the educational institution.
  8. Trivedi chemistry agrees to work with educational institution to ensure compliance with FERPA and the Parties will ensure compliance by providing parents, legal guardians or eligible students with the ability to inspect and review student records and to correct any inaccuracies therein as described in statement (3) above.
  9. Trivedi Chemistry prohibits using personally identifiable information in student records to engage in targeted advertising.

International Users

The Site is hosted and operated in the United States. If you use the Site from the European Union or the United Kingdom, or any other region with laws governing data collection, protection and use that may differ from United States law, please note that you may be transferring your personal information outside of those jurisdictions to the United States. Where we transfer, store and process your personal information outside of the United Kingdom, European Union or EEA, we have ensured that appropriate safeguards are in place to ensure an adequate level of protection for the rights of data subjects based on the adequacy of the receiving country’s data protection laws, or EU-US and Swiss-US Privacy Shield principles.
